• In my current role as Digital Content Specialist, my core channel is the TransPennine Express website. I also lead on our editorial digital content calander and oversee its implementation. My role includes:
• Acting as a brand guardian, providing guidance to maintain the desired look, feel, and tone of voice across our digital content
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to create an editorial content calendar. Content includes web pages, social media content, videos and blog posts
• Ensuring content alignment across channels and using Asana to manage our planning and work streams
• Working closely with third party agencies to achieve our brand goals, mainly SEO, UX, creative and development agencies. This includes creating briefs, Jira tickets and leading optimisation projects
• Leading on the website content management. I provide editorial guidance and ensure all content is compliant with SEO, UX and accessibility best practice. I’m also responsible for training colleagues on our content.

• In this role I wrote website and marketing content for a luxury travel company. This included CRM copy, blog content, landing pages, metadata, product descriptions and direct mail copy.
• I used Semrush and Screaming Frog to optimise our online content for SEO.
• I contributed to the blog content plan and created website landing pages using our CMS. I aimed to improve both customer engagement and our SEO ranking.
• I worked closely with our luxury hotel partners on their hotel product pages, partnership blogs and commercial landing pages.

• In this role I created the website content plan and coordinated its delivery. To create the plan I would look at seasonality, competitor content, industry trends and past content performance.
• I lead on briefs to deliver the content plan, briefing designers, developers and copywriters. I also aligned content across the other teams such as email, social and paid media.
• I lead the implementation of any trade focused contingency action such as fast turnaround sales or discount codes.
• I regularly reported on the website and trade performance using Google Analytics and Power BI.
• I carried out audits of the website for any issues or opportunities, suggesting improvements to our UX and digital optimisation teams.
• I lead the planning and implementation of our website banners via Monetate, from designing the user journey to briefing the designers and developers. This included segmenting customers to achieve a more personalised.

• I used Google Analytics to regularly report on the results of the homepage and web banners.
• I worked with the SEO team to improve our site copy. During this time our brand showed the strongest ranking increase of all the brands in the company.
• I used Monetate to implement promotional web banners and site patches, keeping in mind the customer journey and targeting each experience according to the intended customer group.
• I gained basic Photoshop and HTML skills during this role from making ad hoc changes to site imagery and copy.

• At this job I implemented promotional campaigns that featured on the homepage.
• I uploaded all products to the site, making sure that the imagery and copy were correct and following tight launch deadlines.
• I kept close working relationships with our luxury partners such as Chanel, ensuring their strict brand guidelines were followed.

• I merchandised product list pages, taking into account product performance and top search terms.
• I carried out a weekly trade report that detailed top products, search terms, and homepage performance.
