I have a strong technical background, coming both from education and from the first 15-20 years of my working career, during which I had the opportunity to cover all the technical roles of the modern industry: mechanical design, PLC software development, HardWare design, high level software development, firmware development for microcontroller-based boards, laboratory testing for products certifications, etc...During the last 10-15 years, my roles have progressively moved from the pure technical ones to those more marketing-sales related.I then started using my technical backgroung helping managing also in electronic production department (located abroad Taiwan/USA) and in product management.I also had the opportunity to manage the International Customer Service department of an important company working in the motorcycle field. Here I started dealing in person to direct and final customers, refining the way to deal with them, until building up an International Service Center network, that had to help customers in solving technical issues in the most efficient way.In my previous job I was the "Sales & Marketing Manager" in an important medical company, where I often travelled abroad to attend important medical trade shows as the main Company Representative, I almost daily had to meet and talk to customers, in person or on-line.My current role is both sales and technical oriented, being the "Key Account Engineer Area Manager" for one of the most important company producing PCB (Printed Circuit Boards).Once again my ol' good technical background is always like an angel on my side, helping me in better understanding what we are talking about, even when the matter could look like a pure sales one. It's a plus when you feel you are able to talk to customers with more authority and willingness in understanding also needs that go farther than the mere selling of products. It's a plus when you can give your counsels to the Technical Department as well, because this helps you in being more product-connected.*** *** ***My life is not just-work anyway! :-)I have a family and two wonderful sons.I love motorbikes (mainly motocross), music, writing, coocking and trying to understand what I do not know, in general.Take care andthanks for reading all of this! :-)
