Strategic thinking and innovative design are the two cornerstones of my professional activity: artistic creativity and work method have equally shaped all my most successful projects.During my career I was lucky enough to challenge myself in many different industries: from industrial to furniture design, then to packaging. I never stopped looking for innovative solutions, developing them through a rigorous design methodology and a close attention to each and every detail. I strongly believe in mindful innovation, not only as a catchy slogan, but also as a practical, marketing oriented tool that can be effectively deployed to make projects - and brands - grow.

Creative Director & Co-FounderLibrottiglia 2015 - PresentMilan Area, ItalyLibrottiglia is a practical case study on how an idea developed in close partnership with a client company can truly become a brand new opportunity. Created together with the Matteo Correggia Winery, Librottiglia is where great wine and literary pleasure meet.Librottiglia puts together a bottle of wine and a small book, that also acts as frontal wine label. The characteristics of every product are matched to a narrative genre to create an eno-literary experience based on the perfect balance of the sensory impressions of the wine and the scenarios imagined in the stories.Librottiglia was tailor made for a very specific target of wine AND literature aficionado, a target that knows how to fully appreciate a collectible product that offers them a veritable holistic experience: both psychological and enological!

Freelance Product DesignerIkea 2007 - 2008Milan Area, ItalyWorking with Fabio Gigli, I designed for Ikea LAIKA: a complete interior design system for the office. Our solution was completely modular and fully customizable through the use of several textile inserts, and provided also an articulated catalogue of accessories and dividing elements. This solution was designed to perfectly comply with each and every Ikea standard (from packaging and assembly to usability and security): it landmarked a fundamental opportunity of dialogue and partnership with a company historically famous for its almost obsessive attention to production processes. -
Freelance Product DesignerKomma 2002 - 2006Milan, ItalyI had the opportunity to collaborate with the communication and design agency Komma on several interior design projects, developing products, concepts and retail ideas. I was able to work closely with the technical departments of companies such as Scavolini, Ernestomeda, Dall’Agnese, Calia, HHS and MID.The design process of this company was based on a study of the target audience and of the style segmentation, as well as constant dialogue with the client. It was thorough this experience with this company that I started to define the specific marketing-oriented approach and vision that later characterized my whole design methodology. -
Freelance Product DesignerChenna (Crabo Group) 2001 - 2002Milan Area, ItalyChenna is a company that specializes in the production of sustainable materials. On their behalf, I created DOK in collaboration with Simone Paternich: a completely modular urban furniture solution which can be used to create any type of structure (benches, tables, chairs, etc.) through the use of a single continuous module. Originally designed in Chilon® (a recycled and re-made composite made with wood chipboard and re-purposed thermo-plastic materials) the module was attached to a metallic binary structure, which when used in combination with Chilon, could create never ending combinations. DOK was my very first innovation project and established some of the main topics of my future research as a designer: pushing for innovation, creating modular elements and paying attention to materials.
