- Perform professional coordination and compliance review of grants and contracts to ensure compliance with generally accepted standard accounting principles, established procedures, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to Federal and State grants.- Responsible for the audit and analysis of complex reimbursement and payment requests to ensure compliance with state law, related to Federal and State grant programs.- Audit payment requests for compliance with program requirements, including participants eligibility, scopes of work, contractor invoices and reimbursement requests packages.- Review and verify milestone inspection documentation is complete and consistent with the project scope and in compliance with program requirements.- Prepare and document compliance processes, procedures, checklists, etc.- Serve as a liaison between County departments and Accounts Payables.- Review grant agreements, subrecipient agreements and contracts related to grant funding.- Audit and analyze transactions specific to grants to ensure accuracy and proper documentation and compliance with contract, grant guidelines, statutes, policies and procedures.- Facilitate resolution of concerns related to financial and accounting discrepancies.
