I am an aspiring playwright and actor. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep connection with the arts and different forms of human expression. Starting as a little girl with my obsession for movie musicals (thanks mom!), I pursued singing, performing, and later, storytelling. I fell in love with the imaginary worlds I could create, the limitless possibilities with just a pen, paper, and an idea. Through my work, I hope to explore the complexities of human relationships, what it means to be a person in a world that is increasingly divisive, and other essential truths about the way we live. Along the way, I want to make art that can form a more healthy society; one that is inclusive of everybody’s stories and experiences despite race, gender, body type, socioeconomic status, and other marginalized identities. One of my missions in theater and, hopefully, my career, is to promote a Broadway that looks as diverse as our world. This means including stories for and about people of color, those who are differently abled, and other communities that are so often silenced. On a personal note, I am an avid reader and I appreciate all forms of music. Ultimately, I am someone who loves to laugh, be around the people I care about, and experience new things.
