Mireille Barsoum is a business professional and academic with expertise in entrepreneurship, strategic marketing, and higher education. As Director of Ecosystem Development at Nile University's Entrepreneurship & Innovation pillar, Mireille leads initiatives to build entrepreneurial ecosystems and foster global innovation. She also serves as Dean of Academic Development at Monarch Business School, overseeing curriculum development and program management, while holding professorships at both Nile University, the American University in Cairo and Monarch Business School, Switzerland.Her dual PhD/ DBA research from Monarch Business School focuses on empowering women entrepreneurs in developing countries, driving her leadership in the Women Entrepreneurs Network (WEN), the 'WEMPOWER' program, and AWEC.Mireille holds Masters degrees from the Maastricht School of Management and the London School of Business & Finance, with certifications from Harvard and UC Berkeley.She has received numerous awards, including the ACBSP Student Leadership Award and the Most Impactful Professor Award at Nile University, highlighting her role as a thought leader in business and education.
