Advised by Dr. Daniela Oliveira, I received my PhD in 2022 for my work at the University of Florida's Florida Institute for Cybersecurity Research (FICS) Lab. As a PhD Candidate, I was extremely fortunate to have been awarded the National Science Foundation's CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (NSF SFS), which allowed me to explore my interdisciplinary research interests in computer privacy and misuse in the context of phishing, misinformation/disinformation, online advertising, and marginalized communities. My academic research and final products are fully explored in my dissertation titled, "Addressing Cyber Deception and Abuse from a Human Factors Perspective."I have since moved on from academia, and now work at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's Office of Enforcement, in the Division of Analytics and Surveillance as an Energy Industry Analyst. I have developed subject-matter expertise in transmission products and relevant energy market manipulation.
