I'm a people-forward engineering leader and manager who gets hands on. My mission is to organize my team to get the right things done and get them done right. I have a proven track record of working with product, data science, and domain experts, and I'm a great "translator" between engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.Technical expertise: My academic background is in natural language processing and linguistics, and I spent ~6 years at Google developing and integrating NLP models into Search and Assistant products. Since then, I’ve kept up with the AI space while expanding my skills across the stack. I’m a highly technical manager, and I love to be hands on. I quickly understand complex systems in depth, even ones in new domains. I’ve regularly contributed code in all my roles, including as a manager of managers.
