Deliver face-to-face and/or online professional development for mentors, coaches, principals, and/or client stakeholders, continuously deepening my own capacity as well as strengthening and refining the presentation skills of co-presenters. I support the Program Delivery team in providing consultative services to district-level leadership in client districts to ensure sustained high-quality program implementation. I also contribute to the design, development, and refinement of NTC's products and services.

Hillsborough County School District

Participant in the District initiative to gain exemplary status in the teaching of African American History. The objective is to supplement information in textbooks, integrate African and American Studies into American History and increase student academic performance. As part of the writing team I was responsible for writing focus units/lessons in African American Studies and providing primary and secondary resources for teachers to use. Developed guides and plans for teachers to use in a variety of book studies in order to participate in professional development. These topics ranged from school culture to strategies for teaching students in students in poverty.

As a peer evaluator I worked with teachers in the classroom and provided ongoing feedback that was used as part of a redesigned evaluation system in Hillsborough County. Peer evaluators handled a full caseload of experienced teachers, usually around 170 to 180 teachers, and were largely charged with conducting the observation cycle: pre-conference, observation, and post-conference. The number of observations required for each teacher depended on the teacher’s previous year’s evaluation score and length of time in the profession

Responsible for instructing students in an elementary school from grades 1-5. Created lesson plans, administered praise and constructive criticism, instructed students on subjects such as science, literature, and math, and created a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program. This included responsibilities that ranged from communicating with parents to analyzing student data.
