Miriam S. Email and Phone Number
On Contract at Bonniville Power Administration Fish & Wildlife, I have reviewed over 300 contract requisitions and 200 contract change requests each Fiscal year submitted to QA/ QC utilizing CBFish (Contract Management System), and Asset Suite (financial management) systems. I ensure the financial accuracy of each Award's line-item budget, work elements, progress and status reports, statement of work, final invoices and de-obligation of funds for contract closure. Additionally, I have worked extensively with our systems lead and ESA external vendor in eliciting and documenting business requirements, "as is" and "to be" business process flows in Visio to modernize the CBFish program and to recommend solutions for new initiatives and/or change requests, tracked in JIRA.I have created and reviewed user stories, created a change management system in SharePoint and Nintex, prioritized user stories for product backlog, and reviewed CBFish User Journey Mapping to modernize CBFish, utilizing an Agile methodology.I have also conducted data mapping to determine and resolve issues with data integrity, for example for tracking de-obligation of funds and contract closures, using Power BI and Excel, to determine requirements for new reports in Power BI. Also, I have created user documentation using Visio for PowerPoint training materials for Contractor Officer Representatives, Controlling Officers, Program Managers and the Systems team.Consulted with Environmental Control (EC) management as well as Contracting Officer groups such as NSSP and NSSS to review Bonneville Purchasing Instructions and Bonneville Purchasing Financial Assistance policies to determine financial assistance, cooperative agreements and grants for contract checklist requirements to provide recommendations for potential change requests. My strengths are in creative problem solving, analysis, taking the initiative to resolve issues and learning new business areas and/or skills needed in an organization to assist others. I enjoy working in Finance and systems equally. What is more important is my next position should have more responsibility and growth potential so that I can grow in the position and add more value.I enjoy a positive collaborative environment where management encourages open communication, growth, development and work-life-balance. I find hybrid work to be the perfect balance in providing flexibility and building productive working relationships.Thank you.
