My career began in print design and branding for clients such as Kim Crawford Wines, Parenting Inc, Arts Regional Trust and Manukau City Council. My husband joined and with him came his great website development skills. We built strong business networks, which bought in new sectors; tourism, wholesaling, farming, health, government, local government, retail and corporate.We went on to form great relationships with advertising agencies, PR agencies and design houses who helped bring entire campaigns for business growth together.I take a holistic view of our clients’ communication needs. I focus on planning and development, strategy and direction for The Cohorts, ensuring we keep pushing boundaries as a business to grow our capabilities and connect with more clients.

After University, I started as a Junior Designer, at what was then called Consultus PR (now Acumen Republic) in 1996. I then moved to Tauranga to work as a Designer at Ballantyne Taylor, and finally The Creative Department in a more senior role.What I loved about working for these three companies was the differences within the markets they operated in; blue chip corporates - and working with the Senior Consultants as part of a team silo. To rural focused high paced, adrenaline filled, deadline driven advertising campaigns at Ballantynes. To the more ownership of design model, with The Creative Department, where I was very much a part of the end to end process - in other words the full suite of design.Worked with clients such as Air New Zealand, Panasonic, Fletchers, Auckland Airport, Kelly Taltons and Forest Research (Scion).I left to start a part time role with Parents Inc, where I thrived. Here I found, that I had total involvement and creative license to create their entire print communications, in an industry focused on education. This was the catalyst for starting my own business. I enjoyed choosing the clients that I worked with and helping their brands / business grow.
