Packaging testing development:- Within this role I identified and engaged with key stakeholders to design a new packaging test methodology in collaboration with the packaging team. Limited time and resources were available so I used influential skills and presented a strong case for retaining essential elements of the methodology. As a result the test data output fulfilled key stakeholders requirements.- I oversaw the launch of the new packaging testing method. Using initiative and innovation I lead the training of assessors. As a result we saw a noticeable improvement in the quality of data produced.Impulse and Free From Quality Researcher- I recommended appropriate testing from a range of different methodologies available: in-house and out-of-house. Using my prior knowledge as NPD Assistant in Bakery I was aware of flexing my level of detail to the audience and was able to provide more informed next steps. Results were reported in a concise manner.- Using research skills I designed a test methodology to ascertain the 'quality position' of key free from products- I overcame challenges in recruitment of free from consumers by researching the different methods of recruitment and engaging with experienced quality researchers.

Managed NPD of Fresh Bakery Halloween- I demonstrated innovative skills whilst also addressing technical challenges by introducing a new packaging format. This prevented packaging integrity issues which in the previous year had resulted in an emergency product withdrawal.- Using consumer insights I made consumer-lead decisions during cookie recipe development which lead to an increased sales estimate from £23K to £30KLead quality improvement of doughnuts and muffins- Lead data analysis of Bakery customer complaints and re-designed the complaints reporting system. This assisted in identifying the two key product areas for quality improvement.- Using strong interpersonal skills I collaborated with the supplier and lead a quality improvement plan of fresh doughnuts.
