I've enjoyed a variety of career experiences that began as a radio announcer in 1983. That exposure led me to work in public relations and promotions, including my experience with the 1988 World Chess Festival where I co-managed an international Media Center and worked with media professionals from all over the globe.Before the advent of internet, radio broadcasting and print marketing were key elements in successful public relations campaigns and I enjoyed my career in broadcasting before I moved on to explore other options; but regardless of what job I was playing at, I continued to write, edit and research in various capacities. Today, I wear many hats and never tire of applying old skills to learn new ones! I am an educator who also researches, writes and copy-edits both online and locally. I work for individuals, websites, organizations and corporations and maintain personal websites for my creative writing.I provide an eclectic body of web content, targeted at general audiences in plain-speak. I am proficient at writing on a wide variety of topics from academia to finances and investment.More recently I forayed into the corporate world where I was a Retail Coordinator at one of Alberta's oil sands. The experience offered me many opportunities to learn and apply new skills and I look forward to returning to that unique and fast-paced environment of "camp life".UPDATE:Now retired, widowed, and living in the rural woodlands of New Brunswick, I am enjoying life as an artist. I create both traditional and digital art and sell them as NFTs . I am an investor and educator in cryptocurrency and a community builder in the NFT world.
