I am a multicultural, trilingual, and self-motivated problem-solver with a well rounded background full of unique life experiences. I was born in Germany and moved to the States around age 4, and I grew up with an urge to explore and see the world. In my 20s, after I finished my college degree, I traveled extensively around Europe. I settled in Spain for 4 years and had a great experience. I made lots of good friends and became fluent in Spanish, and that serves me well, even today. I love connecting with people across cultures. In Spain I worked as a professional language consultant. I went to corporations around Madrid and taught language classes to professionals - it is a type of benefit that is very common for employers to offer their employees in Spain. I worked at a TV station, a bank, a large cosmetics multinational, and a staffing multinational. It was really amazing exposure for a 20-something!My initial college major was mathematics, so I’m pretty good at it. What I love most about math is that it’s challenging! Problem solving has always been a passion of mine. I’m an autodidact, so most of the time I learn best independently - researching and reading and practicing until I’ve mastered a subject. I use these skills in every facet of my life, personal and professional. I had a chance to be part of the professional development team at my school district from 2018 to 2020 (yes, right before everything shut down), and I really enjoyed working with adult learners again.Aside from educational development, I have also worked in banking and insurance, as well as sales, customer service, and hospitality. My skills and experience are versatile, and my goal is to always bring value to any new connection!
