I have taught about ten plus years as a teacher. My favorite grade is fifth which I have taught in the past. I have also substitute taught for several years in Littleton Public Schools and Jefferson County Schools. Reading is my specialty as I have close to a Master's Degree in it. I love to encourage young people to read especially the reluctant readers. I last taught at a Christian school near my home. I taught an online program even though not all we taught was online. I taught Language Arts and Saxon Math. It was part time. In Language Arts we read several good books together like Robinson Crusoe, Gulliver's Travels, The Witch of Blackbird Pond, and a few others. I also taught Spelling, Writing, and Grammar. I really enjoyed Saxon Math as it has a lot of review as you go along. We did extra Math projects to keep them interested and motivated. The school closed permanently at the end of the school year.
