I grew up in the open fragrant Mediterranean landscape. I got my education and training here in the Northeast. Today, as a horticulturist and a landscaper, I combine in my work a whole life experience and bring to you an original, refreshing approach to open space, color, texture and fragrances.I spend about six to eight weeks a year continuing my education by attending seminars, symposiums and conferences. My travels around the country and the globe, visiting countless gardens, stimulate my imagination and broaden my horizons as to how to best make use of plants in the landscape.I have completed a course for my PERMACULTURE DESIGN CERTIFICATION. The skills offered in this course are applicable to every aspect of life, far beyond the garden. I am now equipped with the knowledge to design nature-inspired, resilient, regenerative systems – composting toilets, water-catchment systems, natural green buildings, eco-villages and much more. In partaking of this permaculture design course, I have become a part of the movement that’s sweeping the planet and restoring the order so necessary to our world.In other words, I don't always follow the common line, but try to create a landscape that looks like a natural habitat of trees, shrubs and flowers, always incorporating the ethics of permaculture which are centered on relationships – care for the earth and for all the living beings upon it, including people. This is a deep ecological viewpoint in which every living being has intrinsic value, because every living being is contributing to the earth’s ecosystem in its own unique way.
