-HIV Viral load analysis using Roche C8800 -Laboratory Information Management System- Quality management system (ISO15189)-Biorad CFX96-Nucleic acids extraction

-Establish, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS).-Establish appropriate document management systems for all the laboratory documents including Quality indicators and improvement projects.-Coordinate, Evaluate and Manage External Quality Assurance (EQA) Programs to ensure that the laboratory achieves its intended purpose. Follows up on the corrective actions for any failed PT and monitors this for effectiveness.-Ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are put in place to avoid quality complaints, failures and provide opportunities for continuous improvement.-Assigning document control numbers, manage the master file index, makes sure document reviews are done bi-annually, is responsible for document archival, etc.-Involved in Method Validation and Evaluation.-Ensure Staff Training and Competency assessments are carried out as planned.- Perform Risk Assessment and Mitigation in collaboration with the Safety Officer. -Prepare the laboratory for accreditation and ensure the maintenance of accreditation standards.- Organize laboratory audits for the laboratory at appropriate and convenient times. -Organize Management Review meeting in accordance with current ISO 15189.-Participate in management review meetings.

*RNA/DNA Extraction of Plant and Animal cells.*Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)* Assess the facilities, procedures, practices, and training of personnel involved in the laboratory’s activities, in regard to the quality management system; • Review the quality plan annually and recommend any revisions needed to the laboratory’s director/manager; • Seek advice from different departments and specialists and may require assistance from independent experts;• Establish an internal audit program and inform the laboratory director/manager of audit outcomes;• Ensure that the quality management system is managed and maintained;• Establish and monitor all processes and procedures for the quality management system; • Resolve nonconformities;• Ensure that action is taken in order to obtain continuous improvement of processes/activities;• Ensure all staff had up-to-date Quality Management System training.

*Daily and weekly maintenance of PCR machine (Roche), following procedures as programmed in the machine. *Processing and preparation Of samples for analysis. *Quantitative (viral load) and Qualitative (EID) analysis. * Plotting Of Levy Jenny chart as a quality control tool to monitor Laboratory processes and procedures. * Entering of patient's information on the Laboratory Information Management System.
