Creative design and art direction in marketing and advertising form the basis of my career in communications. I have worked in leading ad agencies on a variety of campaigns for multiple brands and enhanced my skills in leadership, project management, digital media management, event management and client relations. Notably, I have coached junior designers to deliver exceptional results, grow their skills and move up in their careers as Senior Designer at Oxygene ́ MCL - Kenya. At Sendy Limited, I proposed remote work and lived in South Korea for a year. This opened the door for more staff to work remotely from other countries, boosted morale and expanded the pool for more skilled workers to join the team. My technical skills using design tools like Adobe Suite and Figma for UI design have been instrumental in driving projects for high-profile clients and INGOs like the Mastercard Foundation. My transition to formulating design solutions for the challenges that communities face I beleive will result in a positive impact on people's lives. I am pursuing a Master’s in Communication for Development to strengthen my educational background. I am keen for opportunities that allow me to integrate into communities to understand their needs better and vacancies to provide communication services to non-profits, startups and community-based organisations.
