Miriam is a vocalist and singer-songwriter originally from Heidelberg.As an accomplished pianist and songwriter, Miriam in the main writes piano-driven mainstream music with a nod to the Folk genre. Her voice has that breathy ethereal quality to it that many contemporary female solo artists are leaning towards. After completing her BMus Vocals Degree at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London in 2015, she moved on to work as a vocal teacher for the Notting Hill School Of Rock and Sound Generation in Notting Hill and Chiswick Park and engaging in various musical projects mainly in and around the area of London. Miriam has been singing and creating music from a very early age. She started to play the piano at the age of 6, followed by flute and finally voice while always participating in various choir tours and band and theatre projects. So far she has supported a number of vocalists on the piano and BV´s and has had the opportunity to sing lead vocals at the prestigious studio of the Royal College of Music in London with a Live String Orchestra. In 2016 she released her first EP “Glow” produced by JJ Mitchell and which has been featured by Radio Regenbogen Mannheim as well. Starting out with classical voice lessons she soon discovered that she wanted to switch to contemporary vocals, discover her own style and voice and support the natural voice with a contemporary technique.
