Born and raised in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, I now live and work in Germany, just across the border.For almost 5 years, I co-owned Café Déjà Vu in Kleve, a small coffee- and cocktailbar serving breakfast, lunch and small dishes. Starting September 2015, I found a new position as a chef at the bistro of an organic supermarket in Cleves, after that I worked as a chef at Tagungshotel Schloss Gnadenthal. After the closing of the hotel due to the implications of corona, I started working at Impacx as an operational employee. After 1,5 years at Impacx, I was given the chance to apply for the position of teammanager. As of February 2023 I am happy and proud to be a part of dedicated Teammanagers at this wonderful, family owned business and looking forward to what the future will bring.In my free time I love to curl up on the couch with a good book, I enjoy cooking or going out eating with friends and I love going to museums with contemporary and modern art. I also enjoy hiking in the beautiful forests in the Niederrhein region.Having lived in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany I am familiar with the various cultures and the funny if not somewhat awkward situations that our differences can sometimes produce, furthermore I speak German fluently, as well as English and ofcourse Dutch.Want to know more about me?
