Within department Sustainable Mobility ("Duurzame Mobiliteit") I'm working in the Cycling Team ("Fietsteam") and I'm representing The Netherlands worldwide in different international programs, conferences and boards regarding cycling. Within this coordinating role, together with our team, we've launched the new ACTIVE program (Alliance for Cycling and walking Towards International Vitality and Empowerment). With ACTIVE we aim to train 10.000 active mobility experts in low- and middle-income countries, via ACTIVE Trainings. We also aim to create more finance possibilities for active mobility worldwide, together with our stakeholders.

Projects:- Overall Coordinator ACTIVE Program (Alliance for Cycling and Walking Towards International Vitality and Empowerment).- Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water in The Hague. International cycling strategies and policies.- Director of the Dutch Cycling Embassy (DCE). Being responsible for the development, operational activities and strategic areas of focus/ vision of this Public Private Partnership.- ALLEGRO Unravelling Urban Pedestrian & Cycle flows Conference, together with the Delft University of Technology and Amsterdam Institute for Advances Metropolitan Solutions (AMS).- International strategy execution for one of the biggest Engineering consulting firms of the Netherlands. Including participation of a trade mission of the Dutch Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure to Sao Paulo en Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.- Supporting ITS projects at Connekt (e.g. BISON). www.connekt.nl - Professionalization of the Delft Road Safety Courses (2014). Optimising the process and organisation of this well-known International course sharing knowledge about road safety in Middle and Low-income countries. http://delftroadsafetycourse.org - Pilot Project Amsterdam (2013/ 2014). Providing technical support within the first phase of the PPA traffic operation field test to improve traffic flows on the ring road A10 of Amsterdam.- Quick Scan of the city of Perth (2013); analysing the suitability of Perth for different advanced traffic principles. A collaboration between Movida, ARRB, MainRoads WA, TU Delft and Swinburne Uni of Technology.- Feasibility project in Melbourne (2013): from “Practical Field Test Amsterdam” (PPA) to the “Practical Field Test Melbourne” (PPM)? With TU Delft, Swinburne Uni of Technology, ARRB and VicRoads.- Integrated Network Management (INM) principle theoretically applied to the city of Beijing, China (2011). Through the existing grid structure traffic could be rerouted using less congested routes.

As Director of the Dutch Cycling Embassy I am responsible for the development, operational activities and indicating strategic areas of focus/ vision of this Public Private Partnership. Together with more than 50 public and private members, over 300 experts, we are organising different types of activities needed to promote the Dutch expertise, products and services concerning cycling inclusive mobility. I am responsible for the management of the daily office of this Foundation, under delegation of the Board. Including coordinating the different projects we have in different countries/ cities as results of the many incoming request from all over the world. Together with our members, we facilitate our international clients, mostly public organisations, to grow towards a (more) successful cycling culture, with safe and well designed infrastructure towards a more healthy and sustainable environment. http://www.dutchcycling.nl/

This entrepreneurial project focusses on analyzing the possibilities of reduction of congestion in the area of Melbourne, using newly applied Dutch traffic measures (Integrated Network Management). The project will be executed in Melbourne. A close cooperation with the Delft University of Technology, Swinburne University of Technology and various traffic engineering companies (VicRoads, ARRB and Main Roads Western Australia) is established to share knowledge and expertise on this subject.

Graduation project: analyzing and optimizing the traffic system on the airside of Schiphol Airport. Analyze the situation, identify (main) bottlenecks and propose solution scenarios to optimize the traffic system which facilitate the platforms and airplanes. Final grade: 8,5

Internship in which I fulfilled the function of Business Analyst (BA) at A.T. Kearney in the Netherlands.

This final master project focused on reducing the congestion in the area of Beijing using Integrated Network Management and was performed in Beijing. A close cooperation with Rijkswaterstaat DVS, DHV and Delft University of Technology was established.

Bachelor Thesis Project which aimed on improving the process of Refurbishment projects (such as MRI and Ultrasound scanners) at Philips Healthcare Refurbishment in Veldhoven, the Netherlands.
