I am a slow fashion designer originally from Middelburg in Zeeland, where I developed my passion for fashion and art. With my label Manusama Nuance I create conscious art, androgynous seasonless fashion, and costume design for dancers. For me, it is most important to be free in my design process while being aware of where my fabric comes from and how it will impact the value of my designs. My aim is to raise awareness for responsible consumption and production, by establishing a transparent label using high-quality fabrics.I am also known as a visual artist and Yoni Art workshop facilitator. My personal experiences as a woman, have motivated me to use intuitive art, as a means to inspire and transmute themes like femininity and guide women through drawing and reflection thereof. With Manusama Nuance, my vision is to merge androgynous (costume) design, art, and aesthetics with sustainability to reshape the value of fashion.
