About Mirko Nava, Phd

Being passionate about AI and eager to learn more, i pursued a PhD in Deep Learning applied to Robotics, which brought me to Switzerland 🇨🇭. During my studies, i came up with creative ideas that lead to the publication of several journal articles on teaching robots how to understand the world we live in from images.My success stems from the interpersonal and communication skills i developed by collaborating with colleagues, industry partners, and by presenting my research to the broader public. At the same time, i supervised many master theses and worked on applied science projects, which taught me the importance of having a clear vision, providing support and guidance, and approaching problems analytically to find solutions.I also spent five months as an intern in Magic Leap, where i designed and built a system to localize objects using NeRFs with my "high degree of professional competency."
