•Handling pre and post fixture operations for all company chartered in and third party vessels. Most vessels chartered in by the organization are on Time Charter Trip or Time Charter Period basis.•Provide timely and detailed voyage instructions to the Masters of the vessels. Assisting with voyage planning with the objective to optimize and economize with respect to the time used and the costs of performing voyages.•Liaise, appoint and instruct agents, surveyors, stevedores, P&I and weather routing company in a timely manner. Voyage management i.e. monitor proactively all participants and initiate pre-emptive or corrective action whenever required.•To ensure an optimal vessel’s performance and to minimize operations costs, in accordance with charter party terms and conditions, as well as international & local legislations.•Coordinate purchase and delivery of bunkers. Ensure seamless and smooth supply with fast turnaround. Also coordinate with bunker surveyor and ensure that correct quantity and quality were supplied and initiate any contingency mitigation matter if same arose.•Coordinate futures and commodities trades for risk assessment.•Preparation of Hire statements, P/FHS, Laytime / detention statements, contract invoices, approve vendor’s invoices.•Monitor the issuance and on-forwarding of all cargo documents and ensuring that vessel faced minimum detention time.•Maintaining post fixture operations within budgeted levels and identify opportunistic savings which do not have an adverse impact on service levels.
