    A blog I created to share my story as a woman who went through a very serious, advanced bladder cancer diagnosis into survival. After being brushed off and misdiagnosed for at least 2 years with increasing severity of symptoms because I didn't tick enough boxes on the bladder cancer checklist, I was diagnosed with a T4, muscle invasive bladder tumor that had grown through my bladder wall and started attaching to my cervix. I had a major surgery and chemotherapy. Throughout my journey, the more research I did, the more I knew that I needed to educate and advocate about bladder cancer and urostomies, especially about women and bladder cancer. This is my personal platform for sharing stories -- mine and others. Through this, I have had other opportunities present themselves for my own writing and to be interviewed as a feature.
