These computationally generated databases have been further used in GH-Bladed, industry standard software for optimizing the position of the stall strip along the span-wise location of the wind turbine blade. The work is primarily concerned with the second aspect of the retrofitting of the wind turbine blade i.e. ensuring a controlled stalling characteristic of the wind turbine blade. A design methodology has been established from the present work and it will be validated by field trials in future on the 300 kW Sangeeth-Carter Stall regulated wind turbine and suitably fine tuned later.
