I am a postdoctoral researcher in Verdin Lab, Buck Institute. Focusing research on HIV transcription, T-Cell metabolism, and Immune Aging!Received PhD in Molecular Biology & Virology in 2022. Thesis title: Exploring the molecular mechanisms of SARS-CoV2 and ZIKV pathogenesis. I investigated how Zika virus Capsid targets host RNA surveillance pathway (NMD pathway); Identified SARS-CoV2 Spike mutation in Epsilon variants responsible for higher cellular entry and immune evasion; Found role of SARS-CoV2 ORF8 in IL17RA pathway.Beside these I have contributed research in development Liver organoid based model system for viral infection (HBV and HCV), Viral particle generations (Pseudotyped, VLP, Replicon, Infectious clones), Epigenetic modifications of SARS-CoV2 structural proteins (N-Phos and E-Acetyl), HIV latency reversal drug (SWI/SNF inhibitors), Immunogenic polymorphism in Guillain Barre syndrome, SARS-CoV2 variants pathogenesis and immune escape, transcription etc. I am highly motivated and hardworking researcher who enjoys both basic and translational research. I am a team player and completed many collaborative efforts inside/outside lab. On health emergencies like Zika virus epidemic, SARS-CoV2 Pandemic, I quickly jumped on research and help professional with my skills and published articles.As a team member, I am very joyful and collegial person. Happy to help lab members or non-lab members with my best efforts. I also arranged research in progress seminar (two terms ) and COVID-19 Bay area talk at Gladstone. I was also a student ambassador (Gladstone Graduate Organization), Committee member and SURE symposium organizer(SURE-Student Union of the Research masters of the Erasmus MC), Congress Co-coordinator (Young Biotechnologist Bangladesh).Outside lab, I write science blog in Bengali, engage people in social media to stop science misinformation. I am also interested in fitness, Soccer, Computer gaming, Karate, Theatre Play.
