I am a lecturer with extensive experience at universities in China (since 2006) and in intercultural communication, a trained psychological counselor, Gestalt therapist and Qigong instructor. Since September 2015, I have been incorporating Gestalt pedagogical approaches into my counseling and teaching activities at two Chinese universities - in Hangzhou and Beijing. Professional background: Activities in teaching and further education with a focus on foreign language teaching, society, culture, intercultural, career and personal counseling of students. One of my concerns is to support people with a different socio-cultural background (e. g. expatriates, international academics) in "settling in" / living in the country of their choice - whether it is Germany or China.This includes culture-sensitive coachings on the basis of humanistic psychology.Approaches in counselling and therapy: Analytic gestalt therapy, person-centered counseling, motivational interviewing, Qi Gong (as relaxation method, improving awareness of self and body, coordination).
