I am responsible for the solution design of enterprise networks. With our competent and highly motivated individuals, we are gaining customers' trust and helping them choose and shape their IT vision. Occasionally, I give presentations at universities and webinars or represent our company at IT conferences.

I was responsible for the design and lead engineering of enterprise networks based on Huawei technology. One of our highlights is the migration of one of the biggest online shops in Switzerland to Huawei during the first months of Covid-19. We have smoothly completed the task despite having zero to no maintenance windows. With great team members, we ensured people could place online orders during the lockdown and helped the customer reach significant revenue.

I was part of an agile team, designing and implementing a self-service SD-WAN solution based on Huawei technology. It was an interesting experience.

I was responsible for developing and testing the Carrier Ethernet Service (CES) based on the MEF CE 2.0 standard. I am still in love with this technology and service and recommend it to our customers even ten years later.

I worked for a Cisco reseller and helped our customers design, support, and operate their network infrastructure. There were various universities, hospitals, and factories among our customers. Considering their high requirements for network availability, we kept the bar high and delivered our best possible service.

I was part of a sports club where I took over the morning swim training. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 AM, I brought variety and fun factors into our lanes to ensure swimmers also have fun.

I was responsible for the network infrastructure of the airline industry in Switzerland and other European airports. My team and I were planning and implementing failover solutions between the airports, considering the peculiar needs of the airport systems.

I was responsible for handling and implementing change requests for our enterprise customers. My team and I dealt with MPLS L3 VPNs, Routing Protocols, Route Redistribution, and Quality-of-Service (QoS). In this role, I continued giving technical workshops to my team.

I was responsible for ensuring the technical quality of our work and spreading knowledge among the team. My tasks also included giving technical workshops on computer networking, interviewing candidates, and assisting during technical escalations.

I have worked in a 24/7 network operation center (NOC). My team and I ensured our customers had an operational network infrastructure to realize their mission. Every day, we worked with various cultures and different technology vendors.
