As a molecular biologist and a Ph.D. candidate at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, I am passionate about gene editing and its applications in health sciences. I am currently working on CRISPR/Cas9 generated mutations in human cell lines, mostly focusing on epigenetics in breast cancer. My goal is to advance the understanding and treatment of this complex disease, using cutting-edge tools and techniques.I have a strong background in biotechnology and genetics, having graduated from the Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology program at Lund University, where I also completed a startup manager internship at VentureLab, a business incubator. I have also worked as an analyst at GELITA Sweden AB, a leading global supplier of collagen proteins. I have developed and honed my skills in presentation, business planning, and pitching ideas, as well as in laboratory and data analysis, throughout my academic and professional experiences. I am always eager to learn new things, collaborate with others, and contribute to the scientific community.
