In this capacity, I work directly with numerous volunteers to determine the scope of a project, the focus of their story, and the ensuing economic benefits of the project. The document that I produce forms the basis for potential funding applications to all levels of government, including the municipality. These projects vary from strictly "community building" projects to projects with distinctive tourism product development initiatives. Since December 2014 we have been successful in securing funding from various levels of governments for approximately $9,000,000.00 of community-based and tourism projects in the City of Miramichi.
