Wideband Receiver Solutions (WRS) consists of five electronic engineers employed full time at SARAO. These engineers were given an opportunity to commercialise intellectual property, developed by them during their employment at SARAO, and subsequently formed the independent company. I am contracted to provide project management support. This includes proposal and report writing, communication management (including website development), day-to-day administrative support and financial management.

I established Ubulula Solutions as a vehicle to offer consulting support on a contract basis, mainly in the renewable energy sector. I endeavour to expand my service offering to also include project, administration and financial management support.

Re-entering the job-market, I have built on my past experience in the energy sector. I contributed to renewable energy, energy storage and sustainable energy projects - assisting various role players with research, feedback reports and annual reporting.

I raised my family as a full-time parent. My children have reached an age where I could again enter the job-market part-time.

I was involved in an array of projects, mainly in the Energy Sector. I provided research and compiled documents, reports, presentations and project plans.

As part of the DSM team, I assisted Eskom in implementing electricity saving projects during the 2006 program in Cape-Town. As from 2007, I was an independent project manager and assisted with various engineering projects in the Cape-Town office.

EEDI Holdings was established to manage the restructuring of the electricity distribution industry in South Africa. As Project Manager of the Operations Division, I was responsible for planning and assisting with preparing municipalities and Eskom for transformation. Internally, I was in charge of ensuring integration of the National Programme Management Office with the EDI Holdings team.

As Business Planning Officer of the Distribution Division of Eskom, I was responsible for drafting the divisional business plans. I was the secretariat of the divisional board and responsible for minute taking. As internal resource, I worked alongside external consultants in the Programme 726 office - working towards the restructuring of the Electricity Distribution Industry.
