Trade finance portfolio• Handling the issuance, amendment, extension and cancellation of full spectrum of trade finance instruments which include • Export Letter of Credits• Import Letter of Credits, Inward Bank guarantees/SBLC• Reviewing of LC /Guarantee terms and texts to ensure financial & commercial risk mitigation and compliance with UCP 600 & URDG 758 provisions• Coordinate with Legal Team in finalizing the Guarantee /LC texts when non –standard formats are used.• Ensure all trade finance activities – repayments, remittances and reimbursement are managed properly.• Ensure that the fees charged by the Banks are in conformity with agreed facility pricing and perform monthly reconciliations• Monitor the expiry dates for Inwards LCs/Guarantees and ensure that they are en cashed renewed well in advance in coordination with respective Business units.• Working Capital Management:• Managing daily operations of the Receivables Securitization program• Managing the daily operations of the Supply Chain finance programs• Managing the daily operations of the UPAS LC program• Managing the daily operations of the Structured Trade finance programs• Provide Trade Finance related advice, training and education for Business units & subsidiaries• Develop effective working relationships with Trade finance desks of banks and financial institutions to ensure smooth daily operations.• Acts as an escalation point for pending Trade finance related issues with bank and resolve them quickly.Accounting & Reporting: • Managing proper and timely recording of all trade finance instruments in SAP• Manage the accounting of Trade finance related trade finance activities – Bank charges, repayments, remittances and reimbursement etc.• Prepare regular Trade finance /Working capital reports/ MIS for senior management for effective monitoring and control.• Contribute reports to Monthly Treasury & Balance score card reports
