Solely responsible for Server Installation, Management, Maintenance and Up-gradation, which was hosted on Amazon Cloud. Worked on exim filters for security and user management. Re-designed system architecture for high availability and disaster recovery. Automated backup and status reports were my responsibility as well.Apart from bismillah email service, i developed two iPhone apps as well, which were bismillah iPhone app (Prayer timings and Qibla direction) and easy card reader, for scanning, extracting and storing business cards.

Ported FreeBSD 8- Release o32 and n64 abi for Octeon Processor. Worked on extending Virtual Address Space to match maximum available for 64 bit. Ported IPERF and MPD5 to FreeBSD and write script to facilitate development. Added Software Crypto to FreeBSD. Added openssl, ssh and sshd to FreeBSD. Worked on porting Linux drivers and modules to FreeBSD. Debugging and fixing different issues, like libthr library had MIPS issue. Apache testing using Webbench. IP forwarding testing using traffic-gen.

Developed and redesigned User Interfaces of WhereverTV for Neuros Open Source Device. Mostly works on Linux/ QT / C++ /C. Lead Application Development team and design/developed user activation module, Networking Panel,Channel List, Info Module, File and Network Browser. Also integrated WPA Supplicant for wireless connectivity.Also developed customize demos for different client like WatchIndia, YouBet etc.

Worked on redesign and development of a win32 based Application called AFE {Automatic Fraud Elimination} Client. The main responsibility of that client is to receive the Call Records from multiple E1 lines on real-time basis and then parse and save the required fields in the database/files. To achieve the real-time response developed a multiple queues based pipelined and multithreaded Client Application which is deployed at Gateway Exchange of PTCL located at Sixth Road Rawalpindi.

Worked on development of different modules for H.264/AVC decoder for Philips Nexperia pnx1300, pnx1500 and pnx1700 processor.Worked in development of visual scheduler for generating more optimized assembly than Philips Trimedia compiler. Also designed and developed new techniques and algorithms for achieving very optimized assembly code.

This project was aimed towards implementation of optimized Intra-only H.264 Video encoder & decoder for x86 machines, and to develop YUV 4:2:0 player for the same platform
