Working at Albayroni Fertilizer & Petrochemical gave a thorough experience in development & implementation of OSHA PSM-Process Safety Management with special emphasis on PSM-007 Mechanical Integrity over a period of 10 years in Fertilizer & Petrochemical Plants. As some say that Mechanical Integrity Element is 60% of PSM and its linkages with other PSM Elements like PSI, PHA, Operating & Maintenance Procedures, Training, Contractors Management, PSSR, MOC has widen my overall understanding of whole subject of PSM. Later transforming MI from PSM to SABIC SHEM-07 MI made it robust.Same time working on Reliability Implementation has given an edge and good hold on Mechanical Integrity and its interfacing with Reliability Methodologies of RCM, RIS & RBI. That knowledge helped to optimize Inspection, Test & PM Plans for SHE Critical Equipments, which is core of PSM-007 MI.SAP Implementation experience of SABIC gave a thorough understanding and clarity of managing Inspection, Testing & Preventive Maintenance Activities. My experience of implementing Mechanical Integrity is spread over normal activities and number of Turnarounds & Shutdowns.As a part of Turnaround Team developed TA QA-QC Documentation Management System, which supported MI compliance audits by keeping history records of equipments. Such records were also helping during investigation process during Root Cause Analysis of Equipment failures. All this helped me to be an effective team member contributing in organization effectiveness during corporate compliance audits and company achieved Reliability & Safety Awards and good audit ratings at different times.Moreover achievement of the main objective of a safe & reliable plant.
