Joined ABC TECH Group as Chief Operating Officer in 2018. Primary focus was to support the company's growth and stabilize the operations by strengthening the processes and core business. Daily tasks included managing day-to-day operations, defining and implementing operations strategy, structure, and processes, managing quarterly and annual budgeting process and P&L, and proactively identifying and proposing solutions for efficiency issues.Designed and implemented an operating model to support and drive change. Established a Functional Organization inspired by Spotify's model, identifying tech leads, and establishing governance and communication channels. This resulted in better control and management of technology change, as well as improving employee growth and development opportunities, sales planning, and strategic growth.Established Workforce Capacity Planning by analyzing staff composition, skillsets, current and future demand, and implementing best practices, processes, and tools. This provided upper management with an accurate view into utilization, demand, capacity, current and future needs, and helped sales pursue the right leads and improve lead conversion. I also helped align employee skills with projects.Acted as a liaison between the engineering and sales teams, establishing and leading a "Tech BizDev" Team. This closed the sales gap by improving the sales turn around time for creating proposals, improving the quality of the proposals, and resulting in improved lead conversion.Significantly reduced employee turnover and improved employee retention during my time at ABC TECH. Additionally, designed and executed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to upper management and the board.

Promoted to Senior Project Manager where I oversaw all aspects of the company’s engineering product development activities, managing projects for multiple customers globally and directly supervising a team of 30 engineers and mid-level managers, as well as over 60+ indirectly. During this time, managed a technical team for a Boston-based fintech startup, leading the product development process from ideation to final product launch, which resulted in the company's acquisition by NYSE.Formed a new team to manage several product development projects for a global biotech/life-sciences company, working closely with the COO and CTO to design and implement a data processing pipeline for processing large amounts of genomic data. This initiative set up centers in the US, China, and Europe, helping to bring the whole genome sequencing to the masses, and the company went on to become one of the most innovative companies in healthcare. Over three years, led the team and grew it from 2 to 30 members.In addition to these large-scale projects, set up and managed smaller teams for multiple projects in various fields including insurance, aviation, e-learning, and e-commerce.As a member of the leadership team, helped grow the company from 20 to 60+ employees and trained several project managers and team leads.

Promoted to Technical Team Lead at Cape Ann where I was given the opportunity to manage and supervise team members on a daily basis, oversee day-to-day operations, and perform resource planning. My responsibilities also included conducting interviews, hiring, and performing staff reviews to ensure that the team was highly efficient.During this period, I worked as a full stack developer for a Canadian client and was part of the team that replatformed a Visual Basic desktop application to an MVC cloud solution using Zend, .Net, and MSSQL. I gained expertise in full-stack development and cloud computing while working with a diverse team.I transitioned into mobile development during this time, working with iOS to build several mobile applications from scratch using iOS 2.3, 3.0, and 3.5. This allowed me to expand my skillset into mobile development and provided me with valuable experience in building mobile applications.In addition, I got my first taste of the Chinese market and the challenges posed by The Great Firewall and latency. This experience taught me how to adapt my development skills to new challenges and how to work with different environments and market conditions.My technical skills during this time included Objective C, PHP, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, as well as frameworks such as Zend and Crystal Report. I worked with databases including MySQL and SQL and development tools and methodologies including object-oriented programming, the Agile approach, integrated software development, and Git/SVN.

During my time as a C++ developer for an EU client, I was responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable and efficient C++ code for a scientific data visualization software. This involved addressing a wide range of issues, from fixing null pointers to developing new features that could effectively visualize large and complex data sets, including weather patterns, subterrains, and oil wells.As an integral member of an international team, I worked on numerous projects, each with its own unique set of challenges. This allowed me to gain invaluable experience and further develop my technical and organizational skills. I was required to work long hours, but I found the work both challenging and exciting.Throughout this period, I developed expertise in C++, Qt, and object-oriented programming. I worked with various development tools and methodologies, such as the Waterfall Approach, Integrated Software Development, Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, IncrediBuild, and gcc/g++. This experience helped me grow as an engineer and take on new challenges while developing software that had real-world applications.
