Ahoj! Glad you’re here!I’m a Localization Manager with experience both on the vendor and buyer side.Currently, I manage the localization of Airalo, the world’s first eSIM store, into 53 languages.In the past, I oversaw localization workflows for Reddit, building cross-functional partnerships and running a Localization Education program for engineering and design teams.On the vendor side, I managed localization and optimization projects in a fast-paced agency environment, working with some of the world’s top brands across tech, e-commerce, retail, travel & hospitality.I also used to be a teacher, which is a role I love taking on! I’ve created and run an internal Localization Best Practices education program, teaching engineers, designers and others about L10n, leading to higher awareness and fewer i18n issues. I’ve also trained many junior team members, and I’ve even made clients rethink workflows that didn’t mesh well with localization (pretty proud of that).And as a bonus, I:- *will* evangelize localization, even if you don’t want to hear it- am not scared of double byte languages- studied linguistics- will push for inclusive and accessible language- have millennial anxiety humor and a huge arsenal of punsAnd finally - here are some of the reasons the Association of Translation Companies named me Project Manager of the Year 2021: “Míša has worked across different project types from translation to copywriting and pay-per-click to social media localisation.
