My deep interest in food since childhood has earned me a degree in Nutrition and Food Science. While working as a Nutritionist, I have understood the gap between nutrition required by the body and our daily diet. That created an interest to explore the Health supplement industry.During my stint with FSSAI, India apex food regulator, I had evaluated 100s of applications in the product approval division under various categories like Health Supplements, Functional Foods, Nutraceuticals, Novel foods, FSDU, FSMP, GM foods, Botanicals, and herbal preparations and proprietary blends leading to extensive knowledge about the products. To further strengthen the exposure, I joined a contract manufacturing company.
