Mischa Muse She/TheyMischa identifies as queer, alternative (in looks and thoughts!), neurodivergent and an ocean lover. She enjoys nothing more than the intersection of science and spirituality: “Explain the why behind each of my experiences? I’m yours!”Growing up on a farm in North Queensland, Mischa has always felt connected to nature. Whether it’s earth, animals, trees or space; she is happiest gazing upon horizons, searching out adventure, journeying different landscapes and experiencing our natural habitat to the fullest (yes, that includes seeking out a beat and a dance floor!). A passionate mover, alongside practising Yoga Mischa loves pilates, dancing, swimming and walking.Mischa has a breadth and depth of wisdom and experience, having completed more than 1000 hours of Yoga teacher training. Mischa studies with their teacher ongoing and cites the teachings of Tantra as the most impactful. Tantra asks us ‘how can we see that everything is sri (the divine)?’. Rod Stryker, Sally Kempton, Satu Tuomela and Jules Febre are amongst her most influential teachers.Mischa is inspired by and curious about finding accessible, relatable ways to connect the subtle body with the physical body through the practice of Yoga. Ultimately, Mischa teaches Yoga because “Yoga changed my life & it is a gift to be able to offer it to others!”Currently managing a global team of incredible humans in the US, AUS & online. Working remotely from Bali, Indonesia.

Yoga InstructorLinkedin Jan 2017 - Jun 2024Sydney, AustraliaMischa loves exploring the senses to reignite your own connection to body, mind & spirit. Expect to be drawn into your body through movement & connect deeply to your breath. Accept an invitation to take some time to go inside & leave feeling closer to yourself and the world around you. For me, yoga is much more than the physical asana practice on the mat. It is a living breathing prayer that I think, speak & act throughout each day. My own daily practice is my morning ritual, moving & meditating before I head out into the world. I am humbled & overjoyed to teach yoga & meditation, offering students a deep breath & a few moments of joy - a chance to meet themselves.Yin / Restore classesA deeply relaxing practice exploring breath, gentle movement & yin asana. With utmost respect to the time of day, season & lunar cycle - a restorative practice offering the embrace of softness & surrender. Stay for guided meditation or a deeper journey inward in the ancient style of yoga nidra - conscious sleep - a state of complete mental, physical & emotional relaxation. Vinyasa / Flow classesA sweet, maybe sweaty practice - taking you from Earth to Sky. Through a blend of pranayama (breathing) & asana (yoga postures), I invite you to move your body mindfully through a sequence of shapes, creating heat & fluidity. Choose to focus on the basics, or challenge yourself with more advanced poses on offer. Rest where you need to & just keep breathing. For the days where your body needs to move every which way, feel strong or cultivate steadiness. A well rounded practice for anyone & everyone - take what you need & leave the rest. -
