Executive Advisor to Booz Allen Hamilton Infrastructure Center of Excellence, Energy Transportation and Environment Team. Led Booz Allen’s highways and ITS portfolio of projects, providing capture leadership, capture strategies and technical direction for all bid opportunities and contracts in these areas. Responsible for project deliverables and quality control for all highways and ITS projects. Significantly increased the firm’s monthly revenue in ITS and highways accounts during tenure at Booz Allen.Focused on clients, redefining Executive Advisor role as most senior transportation-focused client-facing leader. In this role, developed content and contracts in areas of safety, vehicle cybersecurity, mobility and environment. Principal Investigator for systems and technologies in US DOT ITS JPO Technical Support Services and Program Manager for FHWA ITS Communications and Operations IDIQ ITS contract vehicles. Planned and executed firm’s technology investment and teaming relationships to increase intellectual capital and to enhance Booz Allen’s competitiveness in areas of transportation, energy and water infrastructure. Performed cross-market integration with other markets, particularly with DOD (in ground robotics).

Was an early pioneer and continued as expert in the proposition of “vehicle-infrastructure” or connected vehicle concepts, applications and implementation. Led development of first such connected vehicle testbed and suite of applications in the United States. Under SafeTrip-21, led development and testing of safety-related mobile phone applications to provide pre-trip and en route travel advisories before these applications were ubiquitously available. As Executive Director, led and transformed 20-person PATH staff from a primarily Caltrans-sponsored research program to more substantially engage USDOT and a wide variety of vehicle manufacturers as funding partners in mutual research topics of interest.
