Currently as a Sales Engineer in the Service Industry I overlook maintenance and repairs of the hot beverage vending machines, snack vending machines and cold drink vending machines. Simultaneously I am engaged in business development through my active marketing and sales strategies.

As a Mechanical Engineer in this steel industry I overlooked the performance and maintenance of the 8" and 2 1/2" steel tube making machines, end facing machine, threading machine, 20 tonne and 10 tonne shearing machines and finally the overhead electric cranes. I performed maintenance checks on the cranes along with my team. Servicing of the cranes was done by our team of mechanical engineers for example replacing worn out spur gears , tightening of brakes and mounting bolts. I also overlooked all the machines to ensure they were running well with minimum breakdown. As part of my job I topped up up the gear oil, hydraulic oil in the power tanks of all the above named machines when necessary, attended breakdowns to get the machine parts repaired in time in order to ensure daily production targets were achieved.

- As a Sales Engineer I sold pumps, generators, construction equipment and power tools. Marketed our products throughout Nairobi. Went on weekly sale trips to broaden clientele base.- Under the Service Department managed workshop team, undertook repairs of power tools, managed time for the repairs of spoilt products for several customers, simultaneously coordinated with inventory department in obtaining new spares for the products.- When under the inventory department did stock taking for various product spare parts, arranged spare parts for the different categories of products mentioned above in separate sections i.e. shelves
