Iroko Analytics finds and develops the top 1% reforestation sites in sub-Saharan Africa. We work closely with experienced local partners and national governments to design and implement the highest-impact, lowest-risk carbon-financed projects. But we don’t just remove significant amounts of carbon through native species reforestation. Project Canopy, a non-profit, is environmental intelligence for the Congo Basin rainforest - the world's last tropical forest carbon sink. Our platform centralizes all of the data needed to identify the biggest threats - and conservation opportunities - facing the rainforest, so that decision-makers can make the most impactful policy decisions.

In anticipation of a system-wide upgrade, I performed an end-to-end business process analysis for the entire publishing lifecycle. Created processes and templates for PMs to engage all aspects of the business in preparation for the upgrade (gathering requirements, harmonizing processes, identifying gaps, etc). Assessed low-hanging fruit that could be implemented independently of the upgrade.Led multiple ROI processes to support Publicity Department work.

Designed new knowledge management platform for the United Nations Democracy Fund. UNDEF had untapped lessons learned in hundreds of evaluation reports from successfully completed grants; the brief was to design a solution that captured tacit knowledge that was otherwise inaccessible. The UNDEF Lessons Learned platform continues to evolve and is successful enough that UNDEF has mandated grantees to submit learnings as part of the funding process.

Commissioned to write white paper on knowledge management opportunities and challenges for a start-up organization based in the Middle East. Identified the data analysis tools and competencies required to be a successful player in the burgeoning big data space.Delivered 35-page report detailing opportunities and challenges for this rapidly evolving field. Report included industry information (competitive landscape, market sizing and growth opportunities) as well as nearly 20 interviews with current stakeholders and practitioners. The report was enhanced with multiple case studies designed to illuminate both desirable and undesirable practices and outcomes when negotiating entry to this space. Helped to re-design internal learning technology platform for all Nielsen employees. Although my official title was Project Manager, I was essentially hired to be chief-of-staff and advisor to the head of learning technology.Delivered completely re-designed platform on a very aggressive deadline; handled stakeholder input and feedback going forward as well as vendor relationships. Assessed which tools and analysis methodologies were most effective to provide ongoing educational opportunities across a broad spectrum of Nielsen employees and leadership.Took lessons learned as program and stakeholder expectations evolved and revised the overall strategy to reflect changing organizational priorities.

Conducted extensive business, workflow and database analysis and redesign; requirements gathering; and interface design for multiple projects (conference room/asset scheduling software; and clinical supply tracking and materials request database redesigns). Led clinical supply and materials request project from inception to design presentation.
