I was born and raised in Northern Nevada — I love the small town I grew up in and the "biggest little city" I called my home for seven years. I now live in Las Vegas, where I worked in the nonprofit marketing world for six years prior to finishing law school. After law school, I served a yearlong clerkship with Judge Linda Bell in the Eighth Judicial District of Nevada. I practiced as a land use and development attorney prior to joining the Las Vegas Grand Prix. As a Formula 1 fan and Nevada native, it is an honor to help bring the sport to Las Vegas.I graduated from the Boyd School of Law (UNLV) in May 2021 with Highest Pro Bono Honors for completing 100+ hours of pro bono work. In law school, I was a student volunteer for the rural-focused Board of Indigent Defense Services; a student clinician in the Spring '21 Public Policy Clinic; a staffer on the Nevada Law Journal; a member of the moot court team; and I had the honor of studying in The Netherlands for a summer with Duke Law School's international program, the Duke-Leiden Institute, focusing on international law (human rights, comparative criminal justice, and foreign relations). I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2012 with a BA in journalism, and a minor in women's studies. While an undergrad, I completed seven internships, primarily in politics and government, including a semester internship for Sen. Harry Reid.In recent years, I have had the pleasure of public speaking in a variety of contexts, including presenting to the sitting SEC Commissioners during a daylong summit hosted by the SEC's Office of the Investor Advocate, as well as appearing in television interviews as a spokesperson, and previously speaking at museum conferences (statewide and regional).
