The role of the RTT Data Analyst & Trainer is to provide advice and guidance on RTT guidance and protocols, analyse RTT data, interpret and report on the results. Core Responsibilities:- To act as RTT data correction expert, to include correcting RTT statuses and merging duplicate pathways.- Perform RTT data quality audits, produce reports and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.- Ensure the attainment of targets for RTT error correction within a current, identified project, by directing in the prioritisation and management of their workload and advising the Central RTT Manager of any hindrance to the achievement of these targets. - To have a key role in the development of new systems and techniques for routinely auditing data and the embedding of reports for the validation of 18 Week pathways to identify RTT data irregularities.- To identify any administrative CRS Millennium data quality issues which affect RTT pathways, and report them to the appropriate member of staff, encouraging correction at source.- To provide advice and guidance for the Trust on RTT data quality issues and processes.- To take part in the induction of the new starters, and in presentations and training sessions concerning 18 weeks RTT the Patient Pathway team, promoting a wider understanding of the statistical, financial, corrective and support functions and the importance of validation of Patient Pathway (18 weeks RTT Validation) Team around the Trust.- Help to develop the professional skills of other staff members ensuring that they operate in accordance with local and national standards. - Provide guidance on the interpretation of complex information. - Deliver RTT training to areas which are causing key RTT data quality issues on the system.- Provide support and guidance in the development and implementation of education and training programmes to ensure the successful delivery of RTT pathways within relevant services.
