ACON is a global leader in community health, inclusion & HIV responses for people of diverse sexualities and genders. Between 2010 & 2019 I was invited back to ACON under several ad hoc contracts, to provide expertise, management, and production services for arts-based community development and partnership programs, with a strong focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community engagement. Key deliveries under these contracts include:• Partnership building and collaborative project delivery with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members and organisations including Gadigal Information Services (Koori Radio), Boomalli Aboriginal Artists' Cooperative, National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) and Moogahlin Performing Arts• Eight months senior management of five state-wide programs engaging diverse LGBTQ+ population groups, including delivery of video, online, print and live event production, staff recruitment and performance management, community partnership development, procurement, program delivery and funding acquittal • Production and mentoring for First Nations floats in six Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parades• Key role in leadership and development of ACON's first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

Key achievements:• Led eight staff across five projects to meet their objectives on time and within budget, delivering an average of 180 occasions of service and 55 volunteer hours per week, including state-wide activity• Improved performance and reduced duplication by implementing a new communication and skills development process for all unit staff • Performance managed staff in line with organisational HR policies and processes • Represented ACON by contributing on nine interagencies, working groups and board working groups • Delivered high quality contributions to all business planning, budgeting and acquittals processes

• Helped develop and deliver the Organisational Action Plan for ACON’s Work with Aboriginal People 2008 – 2011 and coordinated community consultation processes• Led project and team through a restructure• Increased adherence to systems to ensure greater community accountability and cost effectiveness
