Mishty is a talented attorney who has worked extensively in the governmental, non-profit, and private sectors. She has a strong academic background as a President Scholar from SMU. During her studies, she focused on economics,international trade, corporate governance, and alternative energy, giving her a excellent academic foundation. After graduating with dual degrees in economics & environmental science, Mishty pursued her law degree from the University of Texas, where she served as an editorial board member for Texas International Law Journal and for Texas Journal of Women & the Law.Upon graduation Mishty was admitted to the Texas bar and began working for the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) as in-house counsel specializing in small business loans and complex real estate title issues. In 2008 she moved to private law practice and eventually opened her own firm with Raney LaSusa, LaSusa & Deb, PLLC. Mishty has since worked for small & large businesses as well as non-profits, entrepreneurs, and private land owners.As an advocate for women in business Mishty founded "Sharks in Heels"​: A fun and informative social networking organization geared towards connecting, educating, and training women or sharketts into becoming the future generation of successful women entrepreneurs. Teaching Sharkettes about the importance of business keystones such as finance & budgeting, legal strategies, business planning, social media, PR, return on investment, product validation, and marketing.
