With a strong interest in the sneaker industry, I began my career at Foot Locker, Inc shortly after completing high school. I started as an Assistant Manager and quickly advanced to the position of Store Manager within 1.5 years. Over my 16-year tenure, I had the opportunity to work at more than 10 different locations, consistently improving store performance as requested by the company. Due to my reputation within the district, my peers often sought me out for information and guidance.Shortly before reaching my 16-year milestone at Foot Locker, Inc, I was approached by Expressions (now SNIPES) for a corporate role as their Operations Manager/Loss Prevention Manager. I accepted the offer and spent nearly 4 years in this position. My primary responsibility was ensuring the smooth operation of all 34 stores across New England, which required being available both as a full-time employee and on-call during off-hours due to the unpredictable nature of business needs.Expressions was subsequently acquired by SNIPES, resulting in the layoff of the entire Senior Manager staff. Following this, I received a job offer from one of our vendors, AA Sign & Awning, to join them in the position of Buyer/Materials Manager. Currently, I am employed there as a Business Development Specialist handling government solicitations as well as other commercial projects. While my primary responsibility lies in contracting, I am also responsible for procuring materials for the company.
