In my initial contract at YMCA of the Northern Territory, my role was to evaluate and strengthen the youth programs running in Palmerston and Katherine. This involved:- Developing a shared purpose and strategic direction.- Putting new structures and processes in place.- Building confidence and cohesion within the team.- Assessing organisational needs and.

As Youth Empowerment Manager I oversaw the programs that YMCA SA runs to support and empower young South Australians.This included:> YMCA SA Youth Parliament program (empowering young leaders to create change)> Y Camping (school camps & school holiday camps)> BodyMindSpirit (supporting young carers through retreats and activity days)> YMCA Defence.

As Youth and Community Programs Coordinator I was responsible for the successful delivery of YMCA SA Youth Parliament, the YMCA SA Skate Park League, and the YMCA SA BodyMindSpirit retreats for young carers. This involved managing volunteers, overseeing budgets, and planning and delivering effective and exciting programs for young South Australians.

I managed the largest polling booth in the Dunstan electorate for the 2018 South Australian election. I was responsible for managing a team of 16 people and the polling booth operations in a professional and politically neutral manner.
