About Susan Toro

Growing up a Miami native, I developed a love and affinity with my city and South Florida. With roughly 4 years of blogging and making connections via MySpace and Facebook (to name a few familiar ones); I am an experienced Social Networker. While my primary focus for social networking is on enhancing social interactions within Miami and other South Florida communities, I also act as a corporate social networker for various companies. These companies have entrusted me with the creative development of their online identity which is consistent with their corporate branding. Everything from creative SEO-rich page content to regular blog postings and setting up effective corporate pages on major social networks such as Twitter or Facebook. More than implementing a few catchy phrases, I assist in developing their internet persona.On a more personal level, I have a devout passion for fashion, community improvement and non-profit. Over the past few years I have developed substantial working relationships with various businesses and organizations throughout South Florida. I believe a thriving community is a community that works together to improve quality of life, advancement and growth. My work with local businesses and organizations is not only to assist in those areas but to also increase community awareness of local issues, develop unique social experiences/opportunities within communities and help the fellow entrepreneur get on their feet.     Becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience in my life. My pregnancy taught me many new things about who I am and inspired many more things within me that I never knew were possible.​Through my pregnancy I learned another side of myself; an artistic side. I know I have always had an eye for "pretty things" and by nature I've always been an extremely organized person which is what made me excel at event planning but I never thought I would be painting murals and creating beautiful dwellings for sweet little babies. I blame it on the love because I believe love allows you to do incredible things.I wanted a whimsical forest for my son's room full of white birch trees and there wasn't a decal out there that met my expectations. So at almost 8 months pregnant I climbed up a ladder while I was home alone and I started painting birch trees. My husband freaked out when he got home and saw me with my huge belly on a ladder. Then he stood back and looked at the wall and was stunned. Neither one of us knew I could do something like that, but I did and we loved it and our little boy loves his trees too! I've been painting children's murals ever since.The artistic flow of creativity didn't stop there. I felt so inspired by new found love that I decided to do his whole room myself. Everything is absolutely custom decor. If I knew how to build furniture, I probably would have too but maybe that's for something later on in life. I created Lullaby Baby Concierge (LBC) because I am a parent... a mom. I have been through it all and know what it is like to be scared, excited, worried, anxious, overfilled with joy and while I did have a lot of helpful advice and suggestions, it was still a bit overwhelming and crazy at times. LBC helps take that feeling away and brings peace-of-mind and peace to the home, making it a welcoming place for baby. Lullaby Baby Concierge caters to your needs and wants as a new parent.
