Serves as a liaison among a diverse set of stakeholders from the business and technology areas in order to articulate the business need and ensure technical solutions meet business objectives and goals. Overlapping competencies in the requirement, quality assurance and project management roles; serves as a technical resource and collaborates with requirements analysts, test analysts, IT developers, business owners, vendor, consultants, subject mater experts and end users to verify new and existing system features and functionality meets business objectives and needs. Collaborate with project stakeholders to coordinate decisions related to planning, development, design, and test execution on business applications as needed. This requires knowledge of various products and plan, proprietary business processes and systems, business workflow, vendor systems, contractual, client and/or regulatory requirements.

• Manage projects using Securian’s Best Practices Methodology’s RMCC, STCC and PMCC.• Work closely with business users, business analysts, Developers, Actuaries, and outside vendor project managers.• As a project team member, I take part in reviewing and analyzing Business and System Requirements, keeping the end user experience the priority.• Work with project teams to develop new system functionality while maintaining and existing system operations.• Determine the range and depth of testing needed for each effort, not to duplicate efforts. • Develop and review test strategies, plans, estimates, schedules and test cases. • Execute all types of testing.• Coordinate and provide plans for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).• Structured On the Job Trainer (SOJT). Onboard and mentor new Quality Assurance associates.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Case Underwriters, and Client Implementation teams regarding case set up/plan design. Research and resolve system/case set up errors for portability and Association plans in the FA system, and escalade the issues to IT if necessary. Work closely with IT to solve errors and ensure the system is working properly. Letters Database Committee member. Portability application processing, including verification of benefits from employers. Billing for NEA and all Association Plans. Clear money sent in by insured’s, and outside administered money from: AOPA, Driasi, and AUSA. Policy maintenance for Portability, NEA and Association plans. Answer phone calls from various toll free lines regarding Employer Plans, NEA, Association plans, and Farm Credit. Billing for NEA and Association plans. Research billing issues. NEA application processing. Clearing outside administered money for AOPA, Dirasi, and AUSA. : Farm Credit application processing, initial billing, and beneficiary changes.
